Why does it seem though that nowadays almost everything we eat is bad for us in one way or another??? :? In any case, I, too, wish all of you happy, healthy eating today!! :P :D

Thanks, Mari! And this is so true: everything is bad for us. I don't think I've come across a single food that hasn't been accused of wrecking health. Zucchini. Take zucchini for example. It's rich in natural sodium which nourishes the adrenal glands, and certain prominent natural doctors have deemed it the "perfect vegetable." But no! They haven't read what the macrobiotic specialists have to say about it! (Which, frankly, I forgot, because I think I "tuned it out," but I think it has something to do with arthritis.)

Tomatoes, yes, are rich in lycopene but also have lectins that jam up the blood in most people. And so it goes with every...single...food...under the sun! It's ridiculous.

Who was it that said that hunger is the best seasoning? And gratitude makes the meal a feast? Anyway, in our age of bad food, the best we can do is try, right? "Bon appetit!" :D
