I just think she is the most together woman. She knows who she is, what she wants and where she's going. She has the guts to speak her mind. She really has dared to reach beneath her surface right down into her core to feel who she is. I really admire that in Lisa, I mean that is some scary stuff to reach that far down inside battling whatever demons may await. She came out the other side so beautifully even with all the obsticles she has had in her life.
She said that she feels that the public's perception of her is that she's a tabloid drama queen. I don't see her that way at all. I wish I had her guts and steely determination. She seems like she would truly be a good friend to the people she chooses to love and trust. Have you ever noticed how she almost uses a southern accent when she sings? I wonder if that's a testament to her Memphis roots or that's just the way she sings? I almost can't make out the words to her songs because the accent is so strong. I think she gets her determination from both of her parents. They were both that way.
Elvis has to be so proud of her.
