:hello: Thank You Liliane for Posting the Favorite Songs of her Dads, it is to me so Hard to Pick Favorites because All Of Elvis' Songs are Awesome. But if I was asked to Pick Just Pretend would be my First Favorite, and some of the other Songs in Lisa's List would be to. What are your Favorites Members?

Hi, Liliane, so you will know, there have been commercial ads being attached to
names, including father and daughter and even member names - they show up
as a line drawn beneath the name...click it and you go to some site selling
various things that do not relate to ELC in any shape or form...need I say more-
I edited a couple of posts but didn't change much-we have to learn to be more creative to keep up with "them" out there in cyber land. I will find out the
culprits and respond accordingly... Most of these ads come from other countries "far-far away". Please post freely Liliane, we do enjoy your "finds" and
appreciate your efforts to help us keep this site running with new materials and information. Everyone loves to learn new things, thanks a bunch!
Happy Memorial Day and may your weekend be sweet and rest easy on your
mind and heart.
wjh

To wanda, I saw the two last post that I was posting about Lisa-Marie. I know about the insert link in the newspaper. But I didn't know about the commercial thing of business. I know that you have edtited my post.

Thank you to let me know about that.

Happy Memorial Day to all my friends of the ELC.

Its almost impossible for me to narrow them because I love so many but, here are few that haven't been listed yet.

You'll think of me
Without love there is nothing at all
Do you know who I am
For O'l time sake
Something blue
Tomorrow never comes
Love me tonight
How the web was woven
Anyway you want me
Funny how time slips away
I can't stop loving you
I'm moving on
I really dont want to know

I could go probably go on forever. I am especially drawn to what I feel are his autobiographical songs and alot of the gospel ones which I didn't mention.

Hope everyone has a nice Memorial weekend. Camille

Hi there! So glad to see you posting again! Your songs are the same one's that I love to hear also...there are two that hardly ever get heard but they are so
great! We heard him do America the Beautiful in concert and he did it so dramatic
of course, singing some and reciting the words as well. Starla was 16 and she turned to me and asked, "Is THAT the same song we sing in school?"...she was
so impressed and the entire audience was also...he got a standing ovation and
he was so humble and shy about that. The other one is also Jimmie's favorite
and it is about a sailor who is going to sea , I can't think of the title but it is
a song about Sailing etc...and is also dramatic and a story about a man's love
for his country more or less. It could be a woman but it mentions "old England".
Elvis did it so beautifully, better than the original version of course...he always
did them better-
Bye, have a great weekend and take care of yourself. Don't forget to take a few
minutes a day for YOU!
Love,
wjh

For wanda the song's "The last farewell" was written by Roger Whittaker and R.A. Webster.

This's the video of the song.

Thank YOU! Liliane, Jimmie came over and I ran it for him. He loves that song
by Elvis and then we listened to the original guy who wrote it and he liked his
version too, but of course Elvis is the King... even in this house! He said to tell you thank you very much, it was great hearing Elvis' version again. We have it
on recordings but don't have a record player right now... I don't think I've ever
seen it on a CD either? My next mechanical toy will be a record player that
just plays and makes cds of the records that way we can have our favorites
all together and so on. But that is down the road a ways...
bye,
have a great weekend!
Love, wjh
