Your comments Amanda remind me of the love and respect Elvis always had for older folks, something not so common in today's youth oriented culture.

Yes, I agree Laurie. I think this is the difference between real care and love for others and a selfish oriented society like ours, where the accent is on how much I can take and in how little I must give to others. To "take" is a right; to give is an inevitable obligation. Fortunatelly, not everybody likes that kind of "music" to dance, or that game to play:

THE MORE YOU HAVE, THE MORE YOU ARE, so don't give away or you'll be nobody!

(And: If you want to be somebody, CONSUME, CONSUME, CONSUME!!)

IF we, who were attracted to this ELC Forum and are staying in close contact with it, are avid consumers, at least it is rather of spirituality-Love-universality through Elvis -and the apportation of each of us-, than denser products and entourages. :wink:
