Yes, I totally agree with Amanda. It is finding the middle-ground, or in esoteric terms the "Still Point." It is not about phenomena, although some may at times occur.

It is not how LONG you meditate each time, but that you dedicate yourself to it completely without distraction repeatedly. This builds and builds until you find yourself just "there" when you even think about being there. "There" is that Still Point where your soul feels AT-ONE and AT PEACE with the ALL...even if just for a few moments. Those moments add up and then your life begins to demonstrate this peace in an outward way.

Thank you Maia, for adding your commentary. It clarifies what I was trying to say.

I think that what you say above about the importance of meditating repeatedly, is fundamental. It's something I experimented myself many yearas ago. It helped me greatly.
