Undoubtly Sarena and Sue Lenora, when I'd live in a home like this, I'll invite you to come to visit. :P

What I wonder now, seeing the great "coincidence" of design between Elvis' home in Rigel and mine own design, if we were part of the same neighborhood over there... Image

Amanda, what a lovely house design you have created from your heart's desire. When it's been built, please invite me over for ice tea or a nice fireside chat. :D

My house design is much simpler. Well, actually, I haven't even gotten to the house yet. I keep invisioning a sturdy red barn with white trim and sunflowers growing around each of its sides. Nearby is a pumpkin patch and fields of lavender.

Dear Laurie,

You are already invited to that house -and to the present one too, yet it's much less sophisticated. To have me chatting by the fire is the easiest thing to get, because I love both. And you know well what are mine themes of interest...

Your dream house looks pretty nice too. I could spend some time in that barn, thinking of how to transform it in a wonderful, magic home. This is one of my specialities: barns. Love the colorful sorroundings your heart creates. It suits you well, I believe.

Well, we could go on building images of how it would be living ones close to ohers - ALL OF US! - and never stop. I like the idea...! :P :P

Instead of coffee or tea, there must be something more like to nectar...

I want to live on high ground, with a 360 view below. I would live above my horses-who would have beautiful stalls, large and with soft flooring that drained well so they could have dry shavings to "nest" in for sleep and lots of room to turn and walk about and could go out into a courtyard where they could be "free" whenever they wanted. I would live above, with the barn attic my home-one big room with one end for a master bedroom and bath and then the rest would be living area and small kitchen (I don't plan to cook much) and mostly windows looking out in all directions. And I could see and hear the horses easily and they would love being near and hearing me and whomever was visiting. I would have guest rooms too-that were at the other end-with their own private bath etc: so no one would be too close for comfort or feel crowded... I like my space-and don't like constant activity going on even with people I care about.
I always wanted to live with my horses-properly kept they do not stink or draw flies that can't be controlled-and I would have such control built in. I would want a downstairs area that opened right into the center of their area where they could come in, interact and be part of the family as they love to do. We had horses who lived just a tad higher than where our home was in Moreno Valley, they could stand and look into our den and watch television and see us and they did! My little mare Valentina would love to live with me-and I'd love having her! Anyway, that is my house, all rustic, barn like and with beautiful nature as my view of the world. I would like to have a very big starlight above the bedrooms for viewing the stars-something I never tire of doing. And everyone would be welcome-I would have a big bunk house for extras-so everyone could stay and enjoy the ranch. wjh
