Thanks for bringing this back up, Rose-Lyn! Sometimes you can think you've read everything on ELC but then you find something you perhaps haven't read at all or perhaps haven't read as thoroughly as you wished earlier! :) :hello:

Hi, I was listening to the outtake version of one of Elvis' last performances when
on that last tour...he was doing Unchained Melody and it was very strange to hear him, he did not sound like Elvis to me...but maybe someone "doing Elvis"?
Jimmie thought it was just that he didn't have enough air and was worn out, and was singing it in a different key than he normally did...higher or something. But
he was just "talking" to his group, giving instructions and his speaking voice
seemed a bit off to me...maybe it was just me, or perhaps they "cleaned up"
the recording so that people would be able to understand better what he was
saying??? and that made his voice sound higher than normal? I don't know-it
hit me in a weird way when I heard it because I instantly thought some body is
dubbing this in...maybe they did and that changed his voice to a higher range???
What ever, I went to sleep and had this dream; I have no idea what it means or represents.

There is a large area with people milling about, I think I should know them but I
do not see anyone that I think I know??? I see Elvis walking among them, he is
carrying in his left hand, what looks like a tree branch with several forks on it and the leaves are "lit up" as if they are made of light bulbs shaped like leaves.
He is picking one off at a time and giving it to different people as he walks
around among them. They are all so glad to get it...I do not see what it does when they do get one. Then he comes straight to me, he appears happy, eager to give me one of the "leaves". When it goes into my hand it seems
to expand slightly and then vanishes into my flesh...literally goes through the skin and into my hand and I can see this happen but I do not feel anything
and at that time, do not think it weird or strange to see it do that. I wake up,
wide awake at once and am in my bedroom and in my bed. The dream is very clear still, and I can "replay" it in my head and do several times trying to figure out what it was and what it is supposed to "mean" or represent. I draw a blank\
and can't go back to sleep so I get up and play with the new little kitten who
is happy to see someone up again so he can get out of his little "condo".
Any ideas about this? Too weird to me. I haven't dreamed about him for some
time, and he still says nothing to me, just a kind of expectant look on his face
and his eyes are happy. He was wearing the usual white shirt with the rolled up
sleeves and he didn't seem to have any trouble carrying the rather large
"tree branch". There were some light leaves still left on it when he gave me
mine...What I thought of when I saw him carrying it, was it was a candelabra
on a large scale... it was a burnished gold "limb with softly glowing golden hued lights that were like leaves- and there could have been at least 14 or so of the
"leaves that glowed softly like light bulbs". Why would one be in my hand and then just get absorbed into my flesh? Weird...and he wasn't not saying a word, nothing. If he spoke in past dreams, it was via mental communication, I heard his voice but his lips didn't move as if speaking. Equally weird now that
I think about that also... but why not, that's an easy way to do it...animals
can so why would it be strange for a human animal????
wjh

Hi Wanda, here is what has come to me. I was thinking what was the significance of leaves, and remembered how Elvis loved the book. "Leaves of Moyra's Garden" Larry Geller used the same symbol for his book "Leaves of Elvis' Garden, so obviously this symbol is very important. Anyway I went to "Leaves of Moyra's Garden" Elvis' Gospel CD was playing and I was hoping he would show me what your dream meant. On the first page was my answer, so powerful it gave me the shivers

"Lessen not the meaning of what thou does not comprehend
Cherish the token given unto thee
Thou must await the awakening of new spiritual powers
Many doubts will be dispelled in thy future work
Necessary and inevitable do I deem the rise and fall of the spirit
The Voice of Wisdom will open the gates to the unknown"

I really think this is what your dream meant, Elvis I think was helping! I hope you find this meaningful my dear Wanda. Whitebud
