Dear friends, I just have to post this favourite of mine. You might all know and have seen it. Anyway, this is worth watching over and over.
Elvis is so sweet, cute, loving, exciting, boyish, goodlooking, humourous..........and ...and  ....ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

:hello: Sarena, I To Love this Interview. Elvis just seems so Relaxed, I mean Elvis was Always Shy and Nervous in Public but he seems to really enjoy himself. He Was A Very Gorgeous Person Inside and Out Side, and I didn't really Like or Understand that Smart Remark that Guy Made about Elvis Living in Splendor and about his Clothes he was Wearing. Thank You for Posting this!

If you have the YouTube Downloader tool from DVDVideoSoft, you can download this entire video to the computer. I posted in another section where you can find the entire NINE MINUTE interview.

One of the things that Elvis would say has always stuck with me,
though there were a great many that "hung around too" this one
is so revealing of his heart...

Elvis: "You can't love someone as you love yourself and then do
harm to them; it's impossible, really." He would quote this through-out his life time at various times, when he felt the need.
People who had the chance to spend time talking and listening to him were always awed at how gentle he was, in his conversation and actions. Except of course when he was "being one of the guys" then he was apt to be colorful and funny, "everyone's best buddy,"
as said a fellow who worked at a studio where Elvis stopped in just to "jam with the fellas" a while.
My brother in law said that when Elvis died, grown men where he worked who had a radio on that made the announcement, broke into tears, a few had to go home they were so shook up, and no one ever forgot that day. Will they ever? I don't think so---3 thousand years from now, who knows but what someone will be digging through the "ruins" of an old city named Memphis to find artifacts related to ELVIS!

He did a super show there and wowed them all! One of the more important things that happened in our culture view,
is when he was told by the ones booking him that he could
leave the colored girls home. Elvis was pissed and so he
said if they were not allowed, then he wasn't going to come. And so he had his back up girls, the Sweet Inspirations there...and he requested that they be driven
around the inside of the arena as he was being driven and
in an open caddy so they could be seen. And he asked
that a young blond white woman be driving the car they rode in.
He got his way...on all counts. Not only did the blond
woman drive them for the show, but also took them sight
seeing around town in the open caddy. Double knock
out Elvis!
He was intolerant of predjuice toward any one, black, white
pink, yellow or tan...he loved everyone for what they were, not the color of their skin or their eyes or their nationality.
And he made that very clear when he played at the Astrodome and filled it several times to capacity each time.
our boy was the best...inside and out...
