This is the answer of Don Wilson to somebody , about his Elvis experience, I found it in a google group enjoy:

"To get to the point,I don't need any publicity at all on this site and
I was blissfully oblivious to it,until my name got run through the
mud. I do know alot about Elvis' character and there are other people
who have been in Elvis' company who have had some special moments.I am
strong enough to take criticism from people who don't know me,but when
someone posts direspectfully to a lady,I draw the line.

I know that Elvis would not like his fans being spoke to in a way like
has been done on this site at times buy certain people.Elvis treated
people with respect and loved his fans and would not like this to
happen.This could be a fun site if the subject stays on Elvis without
sarcasm and insults.Think of me what you will,but I was in Elvis'
company and I did have some special moments and we did discuss things
and I do know certain things that would irritate him.There is a lot
about me you don't know,so don't judge me,as I don't know you and I am
not judging you.Know this,no matter how many insults may fly on the
board concerning me,I do rest easy at night. When something was said
about Sue,I had to respond. Sue is a very sweet and caring woman.


I have always done my best respecting Elvis' memory.
George Klein and I started The Elvis Presley Network in 1989 to fight
slander and defamation of his name and character.We boycotted
advertisers that supported shows that said distateful things about
Elvis,We had fans boycott products too and it worked.I've been
President of this organization all this time and Richard Davis is Vice
President and George Klein is the Consultant.We are registered with
Elvis Presley Enterprizes and it is non-profit.We have never took a
dime towards it either.


I loved Elvis Presley since I first met him as akid.When I was around
him I had a fatal kidney disease,they told me I was going to die,Elvis
said I wouldn't and he prayed with me and through God. I had a nervous
breakdown after the deaths of my family. There were times I was
absolutely bedridden and swollen so much I couldn't walk,I couldn't
have hung out with Elvis a lot,as some with imagination elude that I
may have through exaggeration.I contemplated suicide and then tried it
once back then.I would never do that again. I would see Elvis if
possible at Graceland,he had empathy for me losing my family and being
ill as I was.


I went into remission after Elvis prayed with me.I was speaking with
Myrna Smith about this and we both cried together and embraced,the
same thing happened to one of The Sweet Inspirations and three days
later she was free of the cancer she was diagnosed with.


I know alot more than you think I do and a lot I will never
share,because it is personal.I never toured with Elvis,I followed him
on tour and I did meet with him prior to a show from time to
time.Remember when they aired the "Conspiracy Zone" they edited.Many
know how TV productions do that,it sometimes loses the whole
context.Kevin Nealon asked me if I was at Elvis' funeral,I said "No,I
wasn't there at the funeral,I was at the viewing" They cut the first
line out. out...


I realise there may be more remarks concerning me,but that is to clear
up some of this stuff I have been reading about me.You mentioned a
"fake" TCB,Elvis never gave me a TCB,don't put words in my
mouth,please.I don't like to be misrepresented.The bottom line is
Elvis cared about a boy who was ill and lost his family and gave me
some good memories with him,when he had some time.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Kenya! Much appreciated and so glad Don Wilson took the chance to defend Elvis, himself and this lady. They both have a great and loyal friend in Mr Wilson for sure!

This is off the subject....but has anyone else noticed that around the net, people who don't like Elvis change his photos adding physical faults that he did not have?

For instance, there is a picture that I have seen for years, a picture of Elvis face while he's taking a shower. Recently, when I have seen this picture, his face is covered with acne. Now, don't tell me that the one with the acne is the "true" one, but they only showed the acne recently. I know Elvis has had some skin problems, but not that bad.

Also, I am sure that Kenya didn't notice, but the picture that you posted, Kenya, has been changed. Notice how big the nose is? I have seen this picture countless times before, and the nose was not that big or crooked like that. The nose in this pic is at least twoce as big as Elvis' real nose. At first, I thought oh, well, maybe it was the lighting. But if that was true, it would have been that way in other copies of this same picture.

No, it is a picture that has been changed. People around the net, who don't like Elvis use this as just another way to lie about him. They want to make people think that he wasn't as good looking as he really was.

Well it does seems strange!!!! Elvis had a beautiful nose.. though I would not be surprised of that happening... really it seems there is a cruisade bashing Elvis in so many ways, I have been dealing with a lot of crap (sorry) recently to the point of getting sick about it... so no this would not surprise me at all... All the things they say and do just to make Elvis look bad is behond me really and really hurtful so I did see some photos that looked like it was not right but not sure...one thing I do know is that it seems that a lot of people are bashing our man for some reason and I am really upset and fed up of it....and some...... sorry if I seem upset but I am and so great that Mr. Wilson spoke.. really it is... I am behond words right now...

Thanks for your opinion Ginette, and I'm very sorry you are having to deal with so many Elvis bashers. I think Rebecca was referring to Kenya's avatar. I look at the photo and just can't tell if the nose has been enlarged or not. Anyone else have an opinion?

If people are altering Elvis photos in order to make him appear less handsome, well it's just the newest & latest attempt to bring our boy down. Stems from jealousy I'd bet. I hope this is not going on but wouldn't surprise me either.

Hi, I have that picture in an 8/10 it hangs in Starla's office/exercise room-the entire walls are covered with Elvis photos of all kinds-that she's collected for years. Anyway, that black and white photo looks like the avatar and the shadows are what make his nose look bigger-it's just the lighting and the camera angle-that's all. The picture we have was made way before there were computers and people "altering" anything-before those things were available to the public. Soooo...it's just his nose reflecting light and shadow and his hand up there...he had a nice nose, when he gained a little weight as grew up-it grew some, then when he hit his 30's and was the best he ever could be as we all are then-his nose was perfect and beautiful on his face-it all fit. when he was younger his lips were "beestung" as he hadn't grown into them yet-his nose looked bigger for the same reason-he was still growing up-he began his career at 19 years old-even at 18 actually-and he didn't grow up until he hit 24-25 years old...everything fit by then...some people take longer and he was one of them.
He even said that-he grew taller in the army and filled out more and said that returning home he lost weight just worrying about things and facing the press at Graceland again. Plus he didn't have time to eat regularly for several weeks while getting back to the states and home again. He was a "late bloomer" but I'm sure people try to alter his looks, they are so jealous they want to make him "normal" looking, like themselves....but they'll never be able to erase his inner beauty no matter what they do to the outer. We know better-and there are more of us than them...wjh

However, have read what Wanda has posted and can understand where she's coming from especially in regard to never being able to erase Elvis' inner beauty no matter what they might do!
