I THINK WE NEED A VISIT TO DOC. CARPENTER!

Post your photos of Elvis here which you feel reflect his warmth and humanity. See "how to" in the "Important Information" category if you are unsure how to do this.

Thank you girls, for those beautiful close-ups!

His looks in that movie and in Jailhouse Rock are the ones I like best. But Elvis in Change of Habit is very, very dear to me.

My archives fattened today, with so much saving.

As far as looks go, Elvis in "Change of Habit" is my 2nd favorite, with my first choice being how he looked in "The Trouble With Girls".

I also like the pictures from the football-match...the University-Sweatshirt he was wearing (the black one), I bought in 1982 together with my friend Lisa. We wore it so proudly. It could be purchased then from the British Fan-Club.
When I get some more knowledge how to put photos on the computer, I will post some of our old pictures. :)

Yes, Laurie, I forgot that one! To me, in that movie he is like just "walking" through it, spending a little time around. He is so natural in it. He is BEAUTIFUL there.

sorry to hear you still have a cold, Kira - will send prayers and healing energy your way!

Oh, and maybe, if you ask Julie very nicely (as per ELC Chat Saturday), she might let you borrow Doc Carpenter from her dreams??!!

With Love,

Sue

IF I COULD JUST ONE TIME HOLD ELVIS CLOSE LIKE HE DID THAT LITTLE GIRL, I KNOW I WOULD NEVER HAVE ANOTHER HEALTH PROBLEM! HE WAS SO ADORABLE IN CHANGE OF HABIT! FAIRYTALE!
WITHOUT A SONG THE DAY WOULD NEVER END, WITHOUT A SONG A MAN AIN'T GOT A FREIND, WITHOUT A SONG. SO I KEEP ON SINGING A SONG.

:D KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, FAIRYTALE! THAT LITTLE ACTRESS (WHOSE NAME I CAN'T RECALL JUST AT THIS MOMENT) SAID LATER THAT SHE COULD NOT REMEMBER BEING HELD BY ELVIS IN THAT FILM, HARD TO BELIEVE - I WOULD SAY SURELY IT WASN'T SOMETHING YOU COULD EASILY FORGET?!! :)
