Elvis in autumn

Postby Blue Moon » Fri Sep 08, 2006 11:17 pm

Julie put these pics together for me. Didn't she do a nice job! I've asked her if she can enlarge it for wallpaper size, so will post again if she's able to. Thanks Julie!

It behooves one to sense God as dwelling within each of us, rather than as some distant entity, far above and seemingly beyond our reach.

This is so beautiful.

I sometimes wonder if Elvis would have choosen other ways to come close to people and with the talent he had, what he could have done.

I think he could have become a preacher, wellknown and celebrated but of course he would not have been THE Elvis Presley the world came to know.

He would not have become immortal

BUT

Perhaps he still had lived
He would have been perhaps a happier man in his private life
and he would never had needed all the medication he took and which no doubt contributed also to his early death

Would he have been more healthy or was it just his destination to die so young

Well we never will know, do we

I think the same goes for everybody of us

If "we" would have taken other steps in our live , perhaps it would have been different for all of us...

Well I call it "DESTINY"

Glad you like it Fran. Julie put these two photos together for me on her photo program so thanks to her for making it possible.

Nadine, not sure where this church is located. If had to guess, I'd say some place like Vermont or one of the New England states.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the cool crisp air, before it gets too cold, and all the beautiful changing colors of the leaves. I like autumn wallpapers, and I like Elvis wallpapers, so I thought why not combine the two. That way I can have them both at the same time! :D
