I just hope that the psyhics are correct in what I've read and heard-that within 50 years of his death he will be one of the most respected and revered entertainers and men of this generation and around the world.

I would say it is very that-and that he was pointing the way past himself to a higher realm. He didn't want to be worshiped, or looked upon as Mary is looked upon-he was not the way, he said Jesus is the ONLY way and all the rest is just benefit through prayer and asking for help. He didn't believe any other person or diety had the power of Jesus the Christ as he called him, saying that Christ was NOT his name but a title given him as a Christian believer/prophet and the Son of God...a title giving him a position higher than any other mortal ever born on earth. God made him his son for all eternity.
And of course, Elvis was "just a singer who happened to come along at a time there was no trend..." uh-huh
