As I posted in "Announcements" a 6.2 earthquake early morning on Nv. 17th, 2006 just off the coast of the Big Island, Hawaii. 22 aftershocks listed!

Felt it here mildy in 3 waves (things rattled in house). We hear power went of in some regions of this island.

Big Island did not fare as well. No serious injuries or deaths reported yet, but lots of structual damage and power outages.

Although no tsunamis are expected, there could be erractic waves, so all island people here are told NOT to go into the water for awhile.

A hosptial was damaged and evacuated on the Big Island...major road damage.

Please pray for all involved. MAHALO!

I will be sending up prayers. Sorry to hear of the damage to the Big Island.

I just thought of something Maia as I read your post. This morning I dreamt of pictures in my apt falling to the ground and the glass shattering. I wonder if I was picking up on the Hawaii quake.
