Laurie, It was just something that he seemed to feel was personal and I didn't feel that it needed to be exploited around-and besides that, I don't know the truth of the story-but I would bet on the fact that if Elvis liked her, he would not have wanted the "details" out anywhere by anyone and I certainly am not going to say one way or the other. I only know what he said, and it was all nice, clean and respectful concerning Marilyn and he said in the interview that she was at the club he was playing early in his career in Hollywood and that he "shouldn't of been there-but there I was" and when the spotlight lit her up-he lost all train of thought and couldn't remember finishing the show!!! And then he told me about living at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and etc: and he was very respectful and didn't imply anything, in fact just the opposite. But I could easily see him liking her alot-she had everything he liked in females and too, she was unhappy and her husband was abusive-that alone would touch Elvis' heart. wjh
