I think that might be so, the deal was it was in the middle of the night, people were trying to sleep and this noise and carrying on was keeping them awake, the day people. Elvis being a night person- and I don't think she knew who it was-just a bunch of hooligans yelling and ripping around where they shouldn't have been riding most likely as out away from the "paths, etc;" it was dark and one needed to see or run into something dangerous in the dark...like a drop off or a snow covered pile of rocks etc;. Elvis was like a spoiled brat in that he had fun, regardless of where he was and who might be bothered... many times if he woke someone up he just included them in the fun and games and it was okay, but in that case, maybe not. He would probably have perferred if they had come and spoke to him about it or something, instead of having the police out to get him...
that would have been a sight-I would have liked seeing him handcuffed and hauled off-just to see his face and hear what he had to say about it! It would have been funny - but I doubt that would have happened, I think he just got a warning and maybe a fine and they might of made them park their snowmobiles. I don't recall now if they were even allowed to ride them after hours like that-but knowing Elvis, he would have thought that a perfect time! wjh
