someone once told me if we love Elvis so much, or too much , then our love will Hold his spirit back from going to heaven because he will stay earth bound so to please us.
not true is it you think , i wouldnt want to do that , but i doubt i could ever stop loving him as i do, that would be asking too much for us fans .

and does that apply to our other loved ones too , i hope not i love and miss my lovely nan a lot but i could never stop loving her or indeed my adorable old cat whiskers who i still miss too.

glad to hear Elvis had a cat by the way sylvester i did wonder , i know he had dogs, but great to see he may have been a cat person too good old Elvis LOL.

what you think wanda does our love hold him back i hope not, on one of the elvis sites there is a new thing called ask Elvis , and you ask a question and i know someone answers somewhere, its only a bit of lite hearted fun, but i asked , i said Elvis do you still hear us speak to you in heaven , and the reply came back as yes Loud and clear.

i dont know about you , but i feel elvis may have influenced it, or is that daft thinking LOL.

my alarm clock is of the speaking kind every hour, but ive heard it say other things too, im not daft but i heard it clearly say nine fearen one morning, like german, and another time when whiskers was alive i said i hope she comes in and is ok, it said she will be there in the morning.
and when i woke up there she was snoring on my bed LOL.

do you think spirits could use the voice chip somehow, even my mum heard it and my sister so we cant all be mad LOL
hope Elvis uses it oneday that would be neat LOL

I don't know where that came from-but I've heard it also and I do not believe it. I have had too many "contacts" from loved ones, including Elvis after they crossed over and even a couple of times before. I tend to believe that when Jesus told his diciples "all this ye can do, and more" he meant it. He came in spirit to them- so real they could feel the wounds in his hands-and he made it clear they too, could do as he did. No, Elvis isn't "earthbound" because we love him-he's free because we do- and he can reach people at anytime and does... too many have had experiences and some of them are young children who didn't have adults "brainwashing" them either. As for spirits using computer chips-why not? they are energy and the chips work through energy. I am open to anything- most I don't understand but I know that things can and do happen- and though the movies tend to make it "real" and a bit much, some of it is probably true- I do not believe in "ghosts" rattling chains and so forth-that's movie stuff, like Elvis said "to make money off people's fears" but until a person actually has an experience that knocks them back a peg, they can't accept what they don't understand-or perhaps are afraid of. I do believe there are evil influences about- and they can take over people who allow it by doing drugs, alcohol or simply don't have the mentality to understand-and I think some people are born "dearanged" and without emotional controls- maybe they are evil spirits? Or simply the result of our earth's dismise. Whatever, those we can "Discern" as the Bible says- we must "test the spirits and discern good from bad". That's a paraphrase but close to the ful meaning. A pure heart and prayerful soul protects us. wjh

thanks wanda that puts my mind at ease, i would hate to hold Elvis back , i kind of didnt believe it either, but wanted to see what you thought about it.
thankyou that makes me feel better, and if it was the case thered be millions of earthbound spirit, love makes things better not worse i believe.
wonder who said it,i just read or heard it from somewhere cant remember who .
we have to be carefull that i know, most spirits are happy people , but i guess there are a few who are mean.

Certainly I believe Elvis is truly free and is not 'held back' because of our love. Have seen a show where this was actually suggested by a 'psychic' and I thought, bluntly, what a load of B.S.!

Also feel the only 'earthbound spirits' are those that have either killed someone or been killed and that houses/places where murders etc have been carried out, do have an imprint/memory which 'replays' every so often. I don't know about those who have done the evil deed so much - maybe this is where reincarnation and passing into another life comes in, who knows? But the spirit of the innocent one can be sent into the light with love, light and prayers, maybe not immediately.

Love will always, truly win the day and certainly helps! Elvis had plenty of that, still does all across the world!
