hi there julie here again, i have my own group on the net, it is a Msn group, they are free so i made myself one for Elvis

its called Proud To Be A Presley Fan , its got 4 people on it and two of those only use it for putting adds on, tbey arent interested in any of it, or even posting messages.

anyone got any suggestions, i dont want to close it down, but dont have any idea what to do, and as i said hardly any people who joined, my friend keith joined but i doubt he still visits , as nothings happening.

Hi Julie, I went to your site and looked at the directory- I have no clue how to post anything anywhere and couldn't on this site if Simeon and Maia hadn't set it up so it's almost automatic. I don't know what to do to get people there- I had problems getting people to come to my stallion's website! But finally got him on some other's and then people came to see him-they all had mares or just wanted to see an all white horse. It's hard and it takes some time. If you could get it linked to other sites that might work-but I'm no one to ask- computer stupid-me! I thought you had some good things listed- just need some traffic with links I guess. wjh

hi wanda , wow you had a look at my proud to be apresleyfan site, its only a free msn 1, well the way to post messages is on the first page you come to , which is welcome page, theres a list of things on one sideleft side i think, its the messages you click, then theres 2 choices memories and general, whichever one i dont mind, click on one of those tthen theres other messages from other people, but on top of those is a bit to click to do a new message, or post as its called, ive yet to do more message boards yet, i plan to get to grips with it.
i think youve done better than me at the pc, as i dont know how to give myself a picture on my posts lol.
i just brought a pc in may 2005 and learnt by ear, so im still a novice to lol

i just learn by doing, im glad i did get a pc, its opened up a new world for me , im a nervous person and quite shy, i can chat to people, on here its better , im terrible on the phone lol.
and theres so much elvis it makes your head spin lol.
ive loved every minute lol, if i had your email address i could invite you to my group, like i said it dont do much, but i plan to make it better, i love the fact even though its free its my own little piece of Elvis tribute that costs nothing on cyberspace lol, any ideas as to what would cheer it up make it more interesting , a friend from usa was going to put things about elvis drummer dj fontana, as she knew him but never did a darned thing, even made he a sub manager too, so she could do things on it ect, and created her own news page, called it jeans news from usa, but she did nothing , and i cant contact her, would you like your own page maybe, i could call it wandas news from usa, and i could put little bits of news on it, or a weekly thing, some new little thing each week about elvis maybe, that would be great, i could think up a real good title and let you know, kindly sue is going to have a look for me to see if she can suggest something, thanks for looking at it anyway, im honoured that one of Elvis good friends has seen it, as good as elvis seeing it, thats a first.
i want to put so much into it, as it would give me something to do that i can put my heart and soul into, perhaps youd like my email address maybe let me know.
need more people joining really, anyway thanks for looking its a real honour, what do you think of a page dedicated to elvis spiritual side maybe.

It's kind of difficult to suggest things that aren't already on this Forum because there is SO much on here and all great! I'd want to come up with something original and creative and at the moment, the brain's not quite caught up just yet! However, will think about it and let you know further - please bear with me?

Maybe I can't speak for Wanda as such and don't have the right to do so but at the same time I'm sure she must be really tied up with the new book and all that involves at the moment also busy with her beautiful horses and home so think we should just leave her to get on with what she needs to do in her own way, hope you will understand?

It's a shame Jane is not on the internet as think she would like the ELC Forum and be inspired by the positive memories/love/insight of Elvis here!

im sure appreciating taking the time for me, im not pushy i dont mind when it is im just gratefull you said you would.

sorry sue, i really wasnt trying to push wanda into anything, i am if anything very respectfull of people and there precious time
i guess i got excited about being able to sort of contact such a nice lady and elvis friend as well, but ive always been respectfull of people and their lives, my mum brought me up well.

you dont have to feel rushed either about looking at my site if you cant thats ok, i hope i didnt give you the thought you had to do it right now, i just presumed you knew i meant whenever you can.

Julie, I would be pleased to have you put up a page for me- and you could be the one to put things on there- I don't mind that- if you wish, you could look through some of the things that I have posted and choose bits and pieces that you feel other people might like to read- be careful what you choose- those persons may not be as far along spiritually and insightfully as our ELC group.
Keep your choices "light" and "funny" and you may even take some of Elvis' words-from the tape sections I've used... but nothing related to Priscilla and Elvis relationship please. A different type of fan may be coming to your site than comes to this one-I wouldn't want you to be bomb-blasted by some one who is negative minded about either of them. I think you know what I mean. Anyway, think it over- and if you find something, let me know and I'll give you my thought on using it. I do have a lot going here- especailly when I get the e-book and have to proof read the entire thing and it's compilations etc:...may go blind over that one! Let me know what your thoughts are...thanks and best of luck with getting some hits on your site. wjh

thanks wanda i will make you a page on my site and i will put what i put on here and ask you if its ok to put on there first dont worry and nothing about elvis relationship with priscilla i wont.
i think to post a message personally you have to be a member, as ive tried other groups to post and been told you have to be a member, dont know how to get more hits to my site, as apparently some sites especially msn say you cant advertise your group on another group.
okey dokey will set about looking for little inocuous bits to put on my site.
bits about his personality the humourous little bits he said that kind of thing.

its ok sue youve done nothing wrong, actually i took onboard your message about not concentrating too much on the persons time, i realise it mightget a bit annoying to keep on about something.

wanda said i could do a page on my site to her and elvis memories, is there a pic i could use anywhere just one just to illustrate who it is im talking about, just something simple maybe, unless i trawl the internet for a pic on a website maybe if you think thats ok, anyway ive promised wanda i will not put anything about elvis and priscillas relationship, i thought to just sort of concentrate on his funny moments and his personality to show more what he was like maybe.

come to think about it its time i finished my elvis doll , poor thing is sitting on my top in the buff , still working on his aloha suit , many beads to put on lol.

Sue thanks for being so considerate and keeping things going here- I talk out of turn a lot but I am trying now to remember what this site is about- spiritual things and in the betterment of Elvis' memory and everyone's who visits here and belongs here. So anytime I am running off at the mouth into deep water- like Charlie tried to so with Elvis- PULL ME BACK- step on my "cord" and tell me no! Elvis didn't always listen, but I hope I will get the message! wjh

Thanks for your understanding, Julie. Your letter should be ready to send within the next couple of days, will probably post at the weekend now. Think next Monday is a Bank Holiday? I kind of get lost where we are - know there's two in May though, at the beginning and end, totally confused! Glad you are managing to put some things from ELC on your website now too -

As far as what you've mentioned, Wanda: Do feel sometimes it's best to get certain issues out into the open and gives those on ELC the chance to 'blow off steam' some, better than keeping it all bottled in really I think, you know? or at least talk it out with others of a like mind/heart and who are pretty much on the same wavelength and it's no doubt (from our feedback) that what you have to say and share about our boy, Elvis, is well valued and appreciated too!

When you consider also, feel we deal with much of Elvis' spiritual side too, what books and interests/beliefs he had and shared with those that he could sense were interested in what he had to say and if that can teach or show or have others learn about Elvis more fully then that's good, huh? However, picked up on what you said and ok, no problem!

hi dont worry to be on the safe side ive removed all the things i used from thegroup except link which my friend might like to look at, i had a think about it and the new thing i want to do will just be a page for anyones memories, like i said ive thought about it and i decided not to use anything from here.
im not being funny by my actions please dont think that im not, i just decided against it, why does larry never post anymore, how about a post on lightedcandle larry, would be nice to see you on here.
