Jerry Schilling is coming out with a book soon. I will be very interested in reading it. I feel he had a more sensitive understanding of Elvis than any of the others who actually worked for him. I don't agree on everything he says, though.

Thanks for the link but oh, so sad and heartbreaking for our dear Elvis having to part with his little 'Button-head', it does hit you right at heart and soul level for sure, as ElvisWoman mentions.

Did you notice the news about Donna Presley? Don't know how 'true' this is about the scam/con she and her husband had going, apparently - anyone know anything more about this for definite?

That story really makes me cry. It is almost if I can see that scene in my imagination. So sad.

A part of Elvis sure died that day, it was the beginning of the end for him.

I think Elvis would be so disappointed to know that his name was being misused by relatives for the sake of money.

To think I'd originally got that book (Precious Memories) when it came out, bought a copy from one of the Graceland shops I seem to recall. Have let a penpal have the loan of it at the moment but not so sure I actually want it back now!

Am sending a printed copy of the Donna Presley Early article to her, she can then make up her mind if she wants to continue or stop reading the book after she's read it - I think maybe not though!
