YOU WERE! YOU ARE! AND FOR ALWAYS!

Postby Barbara Lea » Wed Mar 21, 2007 2:31 pm

Were you a Dream?

Were you A Angel?

No Just A Man!

A Man that Laughed, Hurt and Cried!

O how I wish I could have heard that Laugh!

O how I wish I could have Sheltered you from the Hurt!

O how I wish I could have Held you while you Cried!

But it just wasn't meant to be, Elvis you are A Dream!

You are A Angel!

But Most Important of All You are and will Always be

The Man in my Heart!Image

Barbara Lea!

Barbara Lea,

You have put beautifully in words feelings that so, so, so many women have felt along Elvis life-time and much after. THANK YOU!

Thank you for sharing this Barbara Lea! :D It's beautiful! Hopefully we'll read more of you...

Somethimes when we are confronted with such beauty we tend to see it as a dream, too good to be true
I know he was just human, but from him and through him the world was given something so beautiful...so uplifting.
He was in this world part of it but not from this world. None of us are realy...

His spirit shone through his personality, I guess when he said
he was doing what he did because he felth he was here to make peope happy, bring joy, he did not fully realize what it ment to all those people.
Guess it is something the personality cannot recognise...

Love, Raina

Thank You all but these words just came to me, and what I felt in my Heart. I also think I had a little help to. I well write more as I feel real soon, and my hope and Prayer is that More of the World sees Elvis like we on here do. Barbara Lea!

Barbara Lea, those are lovely words straight from the heart, and represent many hearts I'm sure. Beautiful picture too. Pics of Elvis in the long white fringe suite are not too common.
I assume you are the author of the above heartfelt words?

PS I keep wanting to call you Fairytale, as I was so used to doing that. It will take some time for me to get used to your new but pretty spirit name.

It behooves one to sense God as dwelling within each of us, rather than as some distant entity, far above and seemingly beyond our reach.

Thank You Blue Moon, that Fringle Suit really lets Elvis' Shine Glow. I to have to remember my new name to, I was sorta hoping that Elvis would want me to keep FairyTale as my Spirit Name but he had an even better one in mind. So Thanks for liking what I have felt in my Heart, and as I feel more I well write them down. Barbara Lea!

Barbara Lee, Please keep writing whatever you feel is in your heart. :D Your words are beautiful and truly inspired. :D Thanks also so much for posting that amazing picture of Elvis in his white fringe suit!! :D You are so right when you say it lets Elvis's shine just glow. :D Even though he quickly grew to dislike it because he would get all tangled up in his microphone cord, it's a great picture to explain how easy it is for him to remain "all tangled up" in our hearts-lol!! :D
