Dearest Carola thank you so much for the beautiful pictures and links that you posted! I just LOVE the black and white picture up top and the rotating pictures inside heart are so beautiful too! The videos were great to watch too but I have to admit that I needed tissues for the first one though. "The Sound of Your Cry" is a beautiful song and I don't think I've ever heard it before so I really appreciate you posting that one for us. The second one "If You Talk In Your Sleep" is the one that was either written or co-written by Red West and also the one that Elvis would use during his shows to do a Kata to because it had a good heavy beat to it. You were right in saying that the video for that one has some really great pictures in it too! Thanks again!

Many thanks, Carola, for the gorgeous pictures and also the fantastic links! Had heard "The Sound of your Cry" as a song before but not for a very long time and has been put together beautifully (as has If you talk in your sleep too!), brought some tears but so great to watch!

Whoever made those videos likes the same pictures of Elvis that I like! He never looked better to me than the press conference after opening night in Vegas 1969. (Although the black leather '68 special comes close! ) I always loved the one where he has his hands over his face with those beautiful eyes showing over the tips of his fingers. And that's in B&W! And he always looks good in profile. I just love his nose! Except in one pic in "The Sound of Your Cry" when his nose looks like Pinocchio's (around the 3:00 minute)! Odd.

I always love discovering a new song of his that I haven't heard before, though that's getting harder and harder to do. My last great find was "Tomorrow Never Comes." Unfortunately the only Youtube posting replaces Bolero on Torvill & Dean's well-known ice-dancing routine, so no pics of Elvis and they do modify the song a little to fit it to the routine, but overall still a great song if you've never heard it before. (And if you like ice-dancing, the song has the same rhythm as Bolero but I like it much better and the routine fits.)
