El'vis mentioned the "Rose of Sharon" in his communion with me and it was posted on these forums...somewhere!

Anyway, I came across some good info on it:

I have a beautiful Rose of Sharon planted on the side of my house. When I first planted it I wasn't so sure it was going to make it but now it is gorgeous.

hi girls fluey juey here

Postby juliepresleyfan » Wed Dec 05, 2007 3:40 am

hi by that heading i mean im completely full of cold , sneezes every darn think , oh well .
been shopping this week anyway, went with my mum , and in the charity shop cancer research i found the most beautifull paperweight with what looks like a blue rose inside, was only £3.99 .
you know how you see something and your eyes look but your heart kind of locks onto it, well that happened with me lol
i saw the one i wanted i said how much he came to window and said £3.99 well he picked up a pink one , but i said please can i have 1 in front , the dark blue one , he said here isnt this one dark blue enough i said no sorry , its that one in front please, well he found it awkward poor chap trying not to knock anything down , but bless him he managed it .
and its great quite cheap too.

when i saw it i said in my head Elvis blue rose of sharon .
its in a heart shape and beautifull.

and on ebay i saw the pendant i wanted like the heart of the ocean on titanic film, but red heart instead of blue, i was so thrilled but sadley they bid at last mo , i panicked and was not fast enough, it dosent have to be expensive either , i would not care if was 10p if it matched the one in my mind,
you remember i might of said i threw a question to Elvis once saying ok elvis what jewellery do you see right for me, and an answer came to me , the one i described , even if it was glass id be happy,

but sadley no some other bugger won the bid , oh well alls fair in love and war lol
carry on searching jue lol

funny enough ruby is my birthstone it seems clever old elvis .
i will find it again believe me , whether its crystal ruby coloured i will find it, like i said it dont have to be real ruby only look like it .
almost got my hearts desire

thanks sue

Postby juliepresleyfan » Sun Dec 09, 2007 4:11 am

thanks sue for that , i tend to go with the flo these days , i seem to be getting more and more sensitive , and seem to be able to sense someones emotions good or bad .
i guess i still get a little nervous that i wont know what to do if i sense someones emotions and feel i should respond or react .
obviously i cant sense actuall words but the feelings .
like the lady in abby national bank a while back , she hit her child out of anger , and suddenly i stood behind , i felt a sudden rush of oh my god i should not have done that , like regret , really strong.

quite fascinating feeling actually, are there any practical ways i can help souls with it maybe, and i guess you gotta be carefull after all , a lot of people just see stupid person who believes in things like that and may be a bit negative towards me so i stay quiet .

my dad tends to pooh pooh that kind of stuff now, yet in past he was open to it , so whats changed , my mum is open to it .
so is my sis to a point .

do you ever look at your cat or dog and feel like you can interact with them on a spiritual level , and instinctively know what they want.
even tho you both have a different language , ie them doggy or cat speak and you human ofcourse :) ,
i do lol , dont laugh tho im serious, i dont see why not they live they feel and they have a soul, i swear our cats try to imitate our language by sound, im not mad tho i just feel it lol
oh well luv ju lol

Julie you are doing fine! It is hard to stay silent when confronted with things that you feel from other people; sometimes we have to "turn it off" and it's not easy to learn how to do that. Mainly we have to mentally tell our selves NOT to take action, to stop. That is something you might work on, because you are opening yourself to some real pain and heartache that other people feel-you'll carry it with you and that you do not want to do. It's good that you remain quiet in those circumstances, because people will think you might be "daft" as they tend to think "crazy" here.
It can be very distrubing sometimes, to know things of personal nature about other people, strangers yet. So it's got it's good and bad sides, like Elvis said, it is hard to stand by and do thing when we know a loved one is going to do something they might regret or have something befall them, but it gives us a chance to be prepared to help them should they need it, want it later on. I was doing that so much in early years, feeling things, having people just stand by me and I'd know what was wrong health wise and their mental condition/emotional state etc: and then I sometimes knew they were going to die soon-that wasn't a good one and I got out of it as much as I could. I stopped taking the classes and doing the meditation exercises etc: but I still have that sense at times and it still bothers me. I guess in a way it is a good thing, but I don't like bringing their "emotional problems" home. anyway, as for your cats and dogs-sure they talk to us, we are stupid, we do not understand their language and they have to use "signals" more or less, but they do understand ours!
So who is the smart one? They are, in my opinion. And yes they do have languages that mirror their actions and they have vocal words too-
They say the same thing when asking for food, etc:...even the horses communicate very well. Cats are smarter than dogs in my opinion though dogs are very tuned to humans. Horses are even a step up from pigs who are rated the smartest of all or most animals. So yep, your pets are talking to you! All the time. And it's normal...for some to "hear" them and learn to communicate on their level-or actually, we step up to their level-as they are higher than us! They are after all, God's creatures and He sure knew what he was doing. wjh

I was listening to author Dean Koontz speak last night about his beloved dog Trixie, who recently passed away.

He told such amazing stories about this dog. Every day Dean fed Trixie at 3:30 and do you know that Trixie showed up at her dish at 3:29 every day? Talk about smart. Trixie didn't even need a watch or clock to tell the time.

Then one time as he was giving Trixie a side scratch/rub, with her looking into his eyes as she would always do, Dean said to her, "Do you know what you are? You an angel". Trixie then looked at him funny, jumped away and ran across the room, turned around him and looked at him like she'd been found out or something. Who knows, maybe she really was an angel.

It behooves one to sense God as dwelling within each of us, rather than as some distant entity, far above and seemingly beyond our reach.

Could be. I know that animals have shown up to comfort people whove lost a dear one. They just "arrive". When Elvis died, Jimmie went out to go to work and under the front wheels of his truck was a tiny kitten, an ugly little one that looked like he was wearing a jail outfit, gray and white stripes all over his body. Starla took him to heart immediatly and the kitten slept with her, nursing on the ruffle of her night gown until he fell asleep. He comforted her, he grew up jet black with a white under coat-very strange, snow white under neath the black! Elvis used to say he was a "wolf in sheeps clothing" and once Starla asked him what color sheeps wore and he said snow white, honey and wolves wear black so you can tell them apart by their clothes. He was teasing her, and they both laughed. He told her sheep were white and fluffy and wolves were all colors but their sneaky eyes gave them away. So here her cat is jet black with snow white under coat that only showed if you parted his hair. She called him August. He had so much energy he bounced off the walls litteraly! I think he was an angel sent by Elvis to comfort "his little Julie"
to fill her time and give her something to hang on to because she cried almost all night the day he died. So the next day, there was this kitten, on a busy, high traffic street and no one around our block had any cats at the time-where did this kitten come from? Out of the blue-and didn't get killed in the traffic that constantly ran up and down that street. And Jimmie in near darkness, just the street llight down at the corner to see by, saw a gray stripped tiny kitten who had such baby teeth they barely came through his gums-was playing right behind the front tire of his truck! Now the chances of that are slim-it wasn't even on the driver's side! Talk about strange. That was. So yes, animals ARE sometimes angels or angel helpers--sent down to us. I believe that 100%. wjh

hi yes wanda i understand what your saying to me , but i dont think ive gone as far as knowing when someone will die , maybe my gift is in its infancy, so theres more to come all good i hope but , yes i will keep quiet unless i feel its safe to say something maybe.
and i agree animals are indeed angels.

wonder if any little strays will ever pass our way again, there was a kitten over a year ago my dad found under our car one morning , thank god he did not drive it .
and we took it in , it was the cutest little thing you ever saw tiny and vunerable a real baby .

the neighbours down the road lost him it occured , a unwed mum whos kids are like a pack of rambunctios wolves .
it turns out its name was TAZ , like cartoon chatracter.
and sadley we had to give little fellah back to her.

but poor cat continued to be pulled about and running to us for comfort.
her kids had a kind of evil streak , and we wished we could have taken taz .
he kept running away from them ( dont blame him), theyve had about 4 kittens run away now , must be awfull down there with those horrible kids .
but taz i think got traumatized in the end and got a bit wild, next door neighbour celia took him in as the woman said you take him.
but celia lost her hubby LEN , and said she could not cope with TAZ .

and she gave him to cats protection leaugue in the end , poor little TAZ i really hope he got good home, and we really wish we had taken him and not give back .

and now a new kitten went missing , we kept watch in our garden but nothing, then we heard that poor little thing was shut in a drawer in the house by one of the kids .
cruel but at least he survived , mum said if that little soul ends up in our garden this time , we will keep him for sure .

i really believe this woman buys the kittens so her kids are kept quiet and play with it, like a rag doll.
suffice to say she no well liked in our street , and her kids are rotten little banshees .

Wild children or no, they don't have the right to bring those little kittens to harm in any way and they need to learn (whether an example of their own environment or whatever) that they can't treat a living creature in such a way! :x I would be sorely tempted to call the RSPCA to this family, you can do this anonymously, Julie, if you don't feel comfortable with 'telling on them' straight out! Sorry if I've offended anyone here  but it's my thoughts and feelings on the matter!

Human beings, adults and children, seem to be raised on a 'diet' of violence and the concept of 'ownership' of items/pets etc in much of today's society (not all but I'm sure you'll understand what I mean), in other words, providing they consider an item/pet etc as their 'own' they can do whatever they like with it, throw about, throw away or whatever - Life is precious and should be treated with more Respect and Love than that, specially over God's own beautiful Creation, kittens included!

If you have an Animal Control organization, turn them in! The law is the law-and we are responsible for the animals and all wild life on earth. Those kids and their mom need to be taught perhaps. The mom is probably traumatized herself with kids like that-what can the father be like? Kids not taught respect for animals will have no respect for human life as well. Poor things, they will have a hard time out there-
I know it's a hard thing to do, but you do not have to give your name or address-at least not here and if other neighbors know of the situation no one need no who called in the "law". Whatever you think, that is the way to go...don't go against your own best thoughts. You live there, I do not, and situations are always different. Love and best wishes, wjh
