Hello all.

I wanted to let you know that my youngest brother, at age 49, died this week and the services took place today. He had had a tough life but now he is finally where there is no more pain.
Here our family has focused on Walter and my brother just quietly died.

Me also Marjorie, it is shocking to lose someone so unexpectedly, but we none of us know when it's our time until it comes. I read your post about hearing and then seeing the print of someone hitting your frosted storm door...perhaps it was your brother lettingyou know that he is okay and still strong and there for you all. That was my immediate thought-it was dark, how better to announce himself to you? And leaving the print was perfect... I believe that when we cross from flesh to spirit it might take a bit of time to adjust to the newness of that space-most likely one has to learn to "use" the new form, and will take the most logical method since people living don't "hear" for the "noise" of living. So, they can more easily do something...like hit the wall, a door, cause something to fall, anything to get attention in a harmless but effective way? Then some can be visable too-I know, I've seen them. And heard things as well...not as often but I have. I believe. And look forward to having those abilities myself. Your brother is fine, in a beautiful place and can still reach out to his family. He will be there waiting...strong and able, for everyone of you. and in the meantime, he wanted you to know, I'm here. it's okay.

Dear Marjorie,

All my heartfelt condolences for your sad loss. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers and hope you feel your brother is staying close to you spiritually.

I believe what Wanda said, and I hope you can take comfort in that, too. When my loved ones have passed away they have always given me what I took for "signs"- some were very dramatic. I hope somehow the communication stays open with your brother, too.
