Come into my soul, Lord as the dawn breaks into the sky; let your sun rise in my heart at the coming of the day.
Lord, you know what I want. If you think it right, may I have it. If you do not think it right, good Lord, do not be displeased that I asked, for I don't want anything that you don't want.
All things praise you Lord most high! Heaven and earth and sea and sky! Time and space are praising thee! All things praise thee; Lord, may we!
Day by day, dear Lord, of thee three things I pray: to see thee more clearly, love thee more dearly, follow thee more nearly, day by day. (Richard, bishop of Chichester 1197 - 1253)

Here is a poem by a lady named Lois Rock....
White are the wavetops, White is the snow: Great is the One Who made all things below.
Green are the grasslands, Green is the tree: Great is the One Who has made you and me.
Blue are the cornflowers, Blue is the sky: Great is the One Who made all things on high.
Gold is the harvest, Gold is the sun: God is our Maker - Great is the One.

Dear God,
For the silly things I have done wrong I am sorry.
For the serious things I have done wrong, I am sorry.
For the things I didn't even know were wrong. I am sorry.
For all the things I need to put right Make me strong.

Glad you like the prayers, Rose-Lyn! Here are a few more:
Grant us a heart wide open to all this beauty, and save our souls from being so blind that we pass unseeing when even the common thornbush is aflame with your glory, O God, our creator, who lives and reigns for ever and ever.
Love is giving, not taking, mending, not breaking, trusting, believing, never deceiving, patiently bearing and faithfully sharing each joy, every sorrow, today and tomorrow.
Dear God, Guard our friendships:
Encourage us, that we may encourage one another.
Inspire us, that we may inspire each other.
Strengthen us, that we may strengthen one another.
Remember us, that we may remember one another.

Hannah's Prayer! My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high. My mouth bosts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. There is no one holy like the Lord, there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like oue God. Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the Lord is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed. The bows of the warriors are broken but those who stumbled are armed with strength. Those who are full hire themselves out for food, but those who are hungry hunger no more. She who was barren has norne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away. The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. The Lord send poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the neddy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord's; upon them he has set the world. He will guard the feet of his saints, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness. It is not be strength that one prevails; those who oppose the Lord will be shattered. He will thunder against then from heaven; the Lord will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.

Matthew 7:7-9 We serve a risen Savior who had given us his Holy Spirit as " living water, " which becomes like a artensian well within us. He invites os: If anyone thirsts, let her ask, for every one who asks receives.

Great prayers and scriptures Rose-Lyn! Thank you for much for sharing and adding on! Below please find a few more.... I think of the diverse majesty Of all the creatures on the earth Some with the power to terrify And others that only bring mirth I think of their shapes and their colors Their secret and curious ways And my heart seems to yearn for a language That will sing their Great Maker's praise! We pray for those for whom today is like the windswept mountain: give them comfort. We pray for those for whom today is like the stormy sea: give them calm. We pray for those for whom today is like the darkest night: give them hope. Father of all mankind, make the roof of my house wide enough for all opinions, oil the door of my house so it opens easily to friend and stranger, and set such a table in my house that my whole family may speak kindly and freely around it. Amen.

Beautiful Prayer and Such Great Guidence. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Ephesians 1: 17- I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

There is no place where God is not, wherever I go, there God is. Now and always he upholds me with his power and keeps me safe in his love.
Lord Jesus, you are my light In the darkness, You are my warmth In the cold, You are my happiness In sorrow....
Thank you, dear God, for the joy of life and the everyday things that make life a joy

Dear God, Thank you for the things I have in abundance, to enjoy with frivolity.
Thank you for the things of which I have enough, to enjoy thoughtfully.
Thank you for the things I lack that keep me trusting in your many blessings.
